Harry's Heroes - Anybody catch this last night?
I thought it would be a car crash but actually wasn't as terrible as I was expecting...but that's not saying much!

Bit harsh

Thought he was just a normal bod.. No Billy big bollocks..
Taking the rise out of oneself at every oppo is classic deflection tactics.

Razor ruddock was a fat useless prick who took the piss out of the programme.
Pathetic individual who's wife looked rougher himself.

Sansom was a quality player.. Had a pair of thighs on him.

Hope he is okay.

Gazza?..he looked fooked.. not long for this world I fear.

Reckon programmes like this are good.. Its lets you see these players are human beings first and foremost.. Think we all are guilty of expecting them just to turn it on.. week in and week out.. simply because they are handsomely paid and pampered footballers...
. but they all have personal lives.. Sometimes switching on is hard to do.. I get that for sure

I've had my moments over the years but now stick to getting on it weekends.Merson was cracking up over gambling addiction not sure if booze and gear goes along side with it but admire the fellas honesty.

Reminded me of another Goon fuck up.... whats the latest on Kenny Samson?? Looked in a fucking shocking way a year or so ago... necking 3 or 4 bottles of wine on park benches.... what a player he was as well...

Merson was a great player and now comes over as a good skin.
Hope things work out for the the bloke.

Just watched the 2nd part... loved it... really hope Merse can sort himself out... rest of them... all normal approachable Joe's... football seemed such a simplier sport when they were all at the top of their game

Good watch.
Thought it was going to be a cringe fest.. And the wonky show.. but was rather good.
Feel for Merson.. Has his demons still.. Just shows it don't matter who you are.. If youre troubled.. There ain't no exclusive club.

SEAMAN is solid.. Know him from the lakes.. Loves his fishing.

Charlie Dimmock has bulked up some and Rob Lee.. Christ on a bike.. Now I know why he's Alan Shearer's bestie.

Ruddock just a typical Wall bod tbf.. What you see is what you get.
Chamberlain nice fella..

I enjoyed it. Always liked Merson so hope he can sort himself out. Le Tiss and Fowler can still play. Gazza probably doesn't have any weight to loose these days so that's probably why he wasn't on although he probably can't get around a pitch these days.

I can't be the only one who initially read the thread title as 'Harry's Herpes - Anybody catch this last night?'

old palace player, Andy Gray, was another member of the squad

Lee Hendrie

The other subs were listed on the end credits.

I imagine why some of the players seemed quiet (Parlour/Lee etc.) were because there wasn't anything as exciting going on with them as the players more heavily featured. You want to focus on the more interesting ones like Ruddock and Merse and spend less time on uninteresting stuff, otherwise you have a really boring programme.

If I remember correctly,Steve Howey came on for Ruddock and Waddle was replaced by Lee Sharpe.

It looked like he did fuck all. I thought he would have been all over the park as he obviously still looks fit.

Parlour gets in my gym, he was the fittest out that lot on the programme and he has shed more weight since it was filmed in August, looking well compared to the others

I didn’t see Romford Pele do much.

Re: Harry's Heroes - Anybody catch this last night?
Fowler was an awesome finisher when he first burst onto the scene...Does anybody remember that spectacular half volley that he did low on the turn against us at the old ground? Only the very best players can do that.

No surprise that him, Le Tiss and Merson were still the best...same as it ever was

Always had a soft spot for Le Tissier. Stayed with the club which gave him his first break through choice.

I'm hoping Declan is a big fan too...
